Fall Trends

Fall Trends

Fall fashion is upon us!

It is my favorite seasons for many reasons. The changing of the leaves, pumpkins, apple cider Fall fashion is also my absolute favorite!! I live for the wearing layers, all the plaid and this year some of the Fall Trends that are being forecasted are also some of my favorites!

Let’s dig in…and be sure to let me know what your favorite fall trend is?

Denim on Denim

Denim on Denim is being talked about. This trend is what I like to call a “uniform” it is so easy to create. It is literally denim head to toe. If you are new to trying this trend out start really simple like a denim jumpsuit. Want to get a little more adventurous start with denim top and a pair jeans add a great belt to create some separation at your waist. Finish off your look with a great pair shoes and some simple jewelry and you are ready to roll! Do not be afraid to swap the jeans out for denim shorts or a denim skirt too for a Denim on Denim look.

Prairie Chic

Prairie Chic is fun a flirty trend that has been borrowed from the 1970’s! With flowy dresses that have ruffles, lace and floral prints it is a trend that translates for a little of style archetypes. Add a great wide brim hat along with a shaket and a fab pair of boots or clogs and you are on your way to being a trendy queen!

Relaxed Retro

Think Princess Di when you are thinking of trying this trend out. Start with an oversized checked blazer. Add a sweatshirt like the adorable Harvard sweatshirt I linked below. Followed with a pair of boyfriend jeans and slouchy boots. It is relaxed look that will definitely make a statement.

1940’s Style

This is one of my other favorite style trends for fall. I am mad about plaid…yes I said it! When I saw this dress it really embodied the 1940’s style with a fun updated twist with the color pallet and I knew I had to share it. Add a simple turtleneck lightweight sweater and these iconic 1940’s style lace up heels in cream and you have your 40’s style nailed down!
