Here is a how to on how to create a beautiful tablescape for Thanksgiving. It is easy let me help you break it down step by step! I thought it would be fun to share with you how I put together a beautiful but most importantly easy tablescape for our Thanksgiving dinner. I have broken it down by the table decorations I used for the centerpiece and the place settings I selected for our table of 6. *Note- I have linked either the exact same items or very similar for you under each photo with all the supplies I used.
November is my favorite month of the year. Since I live in Florida, the temperatures start cooling a bit (maybe from the 90’s to the 80’s (lol) college football is in ‘full swing’ (Go Gators!), but most of all it is because of Thanksgiving. Our extended family goes all out for Thanksgiving. It is an all day affair of food, family and games! What are some of your favorite Thanksgiving traditions? I would love to hear in the comments.
So here we go…….
These are the items I used to create my centerpiece. Some of these items I have owned for a while, but I have rounded up the exact items or in some case similar things for you to recreate the same look. (See below) I always like to start with height, so these two wooden candlestick pillars do just the trick. I space them out down the center of the table and add two white candles on the top. Next I added the three larger pumpkin in the center of the table right in between the candlesticks. I turned the center one on its side just to give it some interest. I then nestled the two small grey velvet pumpkins on each end of the pumpkins. I love the mix of velvet and textures as well as the beautiful soft color palette. Lastly, I tucked in the fabulous pumpkin and dried floral picks on each side of the centerpiece. Can you believe how easy and gorgeous it turned out?

Next let’s talk place settings. I went for a beautiful color palette of white, pumpkin and golds. I started by adding these great rattan chargers. I love how they mirror the textures of the centerpiece. I used my favorite Coalport white dinner plates that I selected as my everyday china for our wedding 36 years ago! Can you believe that! It just goes to show that when you select a classic pattern it will never go out of style. I am blessed to have a 12 piece place setting of this gorgeous china. I then added these fun animal theme salad plates that have a Fall feel and are perfect for Thanksgiving. I love mixing patterns in my place settings. It just gives it such interest and also allows you to bring in other layers and colors. I used for the first time my new gold silverware that I just purchased from Target. I love how it looks and is a nice change from the typical silver colored utensils. These amber goblets are a nice addition and once again are just the color I was wanting for the table. Lastly, I found these amazing linen napkins with pumpkin embroidery that I just had to have. They look so great with these beaded napkin rings and I love how they look placed on the top of the plate. Here is a photo that you can use as a guide for each place setting.
